Capital RegionWing Wars

Our Story

Local food. Local competition. Local impact.

Wing Wars is a Capital Region tradition: local restaurants, a room full of hungry neighbors, and one night to decide who makes the best wing.

The Event

Wing supremacy, decided in one night

Capital Region restaurants bring their best wings into one room. Guests sample the field, cast their votes, and champions are crowned before the night is out. Categories have included Grand Champion, Runner Up, People's Choice, Hottest Wing and Most Original Flavor.

The Tradition

More than two decades of Wing Wars

Wing Wars has run for more than twenty years. Restaurants have returned year after year, some of them chasing a title they lost, some of them defending one. The full record is being recovered and published in the Wing Wars archive.
